Hello

Best Infant Sleep Aids - Swaddle and Swoosh

Our niece and her husband recently had their first baby. I knew right away what I wanted to give them as a baby gift. It was the swaddle and swoosh pack that included two soft cotton swaddling blankets and the Baby Shusher.

If you are a new parent or have a new baby in your household the two secret weapons for soothing a fussy and crying baby is swaddling and swooshing.

Swaddling is a way of wrapping up the baby in a way that prevents their arms or legs from flailing which then startles the infant and wakes them up. Swooshing is a sound that mimics what your newborn heard when he/she was still in the uterus. The familiar sound is soothing and comforting to them.

Swaddling is easy, but to constantly make the swooshing sound in your newborn baby's ear can get tiring quite quickly.

That's why I got my niece the Baby Shusher. Watch this video to see how it works and other tips on helping your newborn to sleep.
