Sleep Deprivation and Memory

Did you know that sleep deprivation can and does affect ones memory? Not only is memory affected but so is learning and the ability to pay attention.

Of course this symptom of sleep deprivation happens to people of all ages, but it especially concerns me when it comes to teens and college students. Their brains are being bombarded with so many new concepts and ideas whether it is in science, technology, art, or history. But in order to assimilate this information they need their sleep.
