Valerian Root Tea - My Best Natural Sleep Aid
January 26, 2013
Hello

I was fixing myself some valerian root tea the other evening before bedtime and while I was waiting for the hot water to boil, I started reading the package. It was rather surprising to me to see that this tea for sleep has some strong warnings on the side of the package:

Not for those under the age of 18

Do not use when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery

Do not use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers without first consulting a health care professional

I am way over 18 and I don't take any kinds of prescription meds. Of course I don't plan on driving since it's about my bedtime, but I think I now understand why it says, not to drive. Normally, I fix my sleep tea and head to bed. But last night we had company over and our friends wanted some green tea, so I thought I'd go ahead and fix my valerian root tea.

Well, it wasn't long after I had sipped my hot drink, that I found I could barely keep my eyes open and wondered when our guests would be leaving :)

Thankfully, Sue had a race to run in the morning and left shortly and I headed right off to the Land of Nod.

Find out how this sleep tea can help you and what I combine it with for better taste and I think a better sleep affect:
